In 2024, Missouri Medicine: The Journal of the Missouri State Medical Association is celebrating 120 years of continuous publication. In 1904, MSMA began publishing a medical journal devoted to the art and science of medicine, and collegiality among Show-Me State physicians and county medical associations. Twenty years later, MSMA approached Ovid Bell, founder of The Ovid Bell Press in Fulton, Missouri, to begin printing their journal. When 抖荫短视频 purchased The Ovid Bell Press in 2012, this tradition of printing excellence was passed into our hands.
抖荫短视频 not only prints MSMA鈥檚 bi-monthly publication but also hosts digital editions of each magazine. Additionally, our technology department codes Missouri Medicine to be uploaded and available for reference to online research databanks like MEDLINE, PubMed, EBSCO and more. This functionality has allowed Missouri Medicine to be cited in impact factor journals and regularly featured in national media.
鈥淲ith over a century of encouragement, participation and support from our physician members and editorial board, our journal is widely respected, and our publication has an international following. This is largely due to an outstanding and long-serving relationship that began in July 1924 when The Ovid Bell Press in Fulton approached MSMA to print its journal.
